To give the house extra charm, we added a new carved wood door, window moulding details, a new stone entry sidewalk, a happy blue stucco colour and new gardens.

The living room opens to the kitchen/dining area with opens to the courtyard with large bi-folding glass doors. The end result is a blurring of the inside and outside spaces.
The large custom-made kitchen table doubles as the kitchen island. It is the heart of the home. The table is made of solid parota wood with a brushed, natural finish.
The kitchen is a warm, inviting space with leathered granite counters and natural parota wood cabinets. The space completely opens to the private, landscaped courtyard.
The living area features custom furniture, rich textures and artwork from local craftsman and artists. The terra cotta ceiling is a traditional Mexican building method.
The bedroom opens to the courtyard, again blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors. Custom furniture and artwork from local artists fill the room with warmth and texture.
The Casita bedroom completely opens to the courtyard with a view across to the pool.
The L-shaped bathroom features 2 sinks with polished concrete counters and lower shelf, a large walk-in shower and a separate laundry room.
The large walk-in shower features a fabulous porcelain tile feature wall.
The private outdoor shower is the main feature of this bathroom, with entrances from the bathroom and the courtyard.
The private outdoor shower has a parota wood plank floor floating in black stones. It can be accessed through the Casita bathroom or from the courtyard.
The BBQ area is off the courtyard. The parota wood access door to the outdoor shower can be seen on the right.
The pool and courtyard can be dramatically lit up in the evenings to create a wonderful entertainment area.
